Roles &Responsibilities – Principal GenAI Architect

• Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs, define project scope, and present technical solutions in a clear and compelling manner.

• Proof of Concept POC Development Lead the development of POCs to validate proposed solutions and demonstrate the value of GenAI technologies. Performance Optimization Identify and implement strategies for optimizing the performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness of GenAI solutions.

• Security and Compliance Ensure that GenAI solutions are designed and implemented in accordance with security best practices and compliance requirements.

• Create comprehensive documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and implementation guides.

• Experienced in solution architecture, with a focus on AI ML applications. GenAI Expertise Deep understanding of Generative AI models LLMs, diffusion models, etc, fine tuning techniques, and prompt engineering.

• AI/ML Frameworks Proficiency with AI ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Hugging Face Transformers.

• Cloud Platforms Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including AI ML services. Programming Skills Proficiency in Python and other relevant programming languages.

• Data Engineering Experience with data engineering principles and tools for building data pipelines and preparing data for AI/ML models.

• API Development Experience with API design and development for integrating AI ML models into applications.

• DevOps Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for deploying and managing AIML models in production. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non technical audiences.

• Problem-Solving Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Education Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Salary and Other Compensation: Principal GenAI Architect

The hourly salary for this position is between $[ 151,000 – 177,500] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
